Isac Neto //  multidisciplinary creative

design, advertising, filmmaking, art.

VIDEOCULTO is my first solo venture,
something I keep running in between freelance gigs.

I did not want to open a film production company.
At this stage of my career, it felt lame. I have no formal education
or professional background in filmmaking,
and I also did not want to get paid to shoot music videos for artists I would not even listen to.

So creating this project, where I choose who I work with and build something great together, felt like the best option.
And of course, I will learn how to become a better director along the way.

After this crazy idea was introduced to the world(my hometown)
We managed to fund three episodes in 2025.  I know i said “we,” but it was me,
more collaborators became interested in participating.

Music artists. Filmmakers. Colorists. Editors.
And now 2026 is looking bigger than I ever imagined.

I am not afraid of AI coming for this project. Maybe 99% of music videos will be made with AI in a blink of an eye , but not on this channel.
And hold that tought...Not against AI adoption. I just do not want to lose the fun of being on set.

After the teaser, our social media went crazy with comments and artist recommendations, we received over 700 comments and more than 100 songs from different artists on my e-mail on the first leg of the project. This is a project solely funded by me, with a very tight budget, so i consider that a impressive landmark.  After a few weeks we already selected a few songs and the first to be was Soninho's  or as you read in english: Sleepy. Soninho sent me a really catchy sound with a innovative production so we also went crazy on the video.  Watch it below.

In Recife, Brazil, there was something called Lado A e Lado B, something that used to happen in a party known as “bailes de corredor.” It was a street culture from the suburbs where music, dance and violence mixed together. It doesn’t exist anymore today we only have peaceful dance-offs. But back then, imagine two lines of people facing each other, like in a round of capoeira, only with a much bigger crowd. Inside that corridor, when the security guard looked away, fights could break out. The video Dono da Área is a portrait of this world not exactly how it used to be, but showing how that energy and conflict could be transformed into art and performance.
